  • All WeAreK9 equipment is designed for dog handling and training using durable materials suitable for active and working dogs. However, no dog equipment is completely indestructible.


    It is the handler’s responsibility to ensure that equipment is appropriate for their dog, fitted correctly, and used safely at all times.


    Handlers should regularly inspect collars, leads, and training equipment for signs of wear, damage, or weakness and discontinue use if any issues are found.


    WeAreK9 equipment should not be left on dogs unsupervised and should not be used in situations where the dog could become entangled or at risk of injury.


    Dogs that pull heavily, lunge, or work with high drive may place increased stress on equipment. In these cases, equipment should be inspected more frequently to ensure continued safety.


    WeAreK9 cannot accept responsibility for injury, loss, or damage resulting from:

    • Incorrect fitting of equipment

    • Improper or unintended use

    • Failure to regularly inspect equipment for wear or damage

    • Dogs left unattended while wearing equipment


    By using WeAreK9 equipment, the handler accepts responsibility for ensuring it is used safely and appropriately.
